There is one Mother
She comes in many forms
We call her by many names.

She has fed us, bathed us
Carried us over troubled waters
Quite likely saved our life.

She brought us here, She protected us
She shapes and transforms us
Helps us become what we will.

In every mama, mom, or amma*
Her enduring love shows
We are infinitely one with her.

Her selfless devotion to us
Shines a beacon light on the path
To love for all the world.

She is infinitely imminent
Our very own from birth
Yet Oneness with all is her Essence.
